The closest town is 5 km away. The house has a beautiful view over the valley of Pescara river, and a few miles north there is the plain of Voltigno while on the other side there is Campo Imperatore, recommended for true walkers. In close proximity (about 50m) there is an excellent restaurant (Gambero Rosso) and also near the home there are several routes which reach the top of the mountain. For those who like mushrooms, the area is very suitable for harvesting. In winter on the plain of Voltigno you can practice skying, in summer you can do horseback riding.
